Snyders In DK

Here we are, posed in front of castle ruins from the 1300s. So far, the Snyder's vacation has been dandy. We rented a car from Friday until Monday morning, and toured a small town nearby and two castles; Egeskov on on the island of Fyn and Kronborg on Zealand.

I think we ran everyone down a bit too much the first few days. This is their vacation. We are now in a pattern of sleeping until 10 or 11 and leaving the house about 1. I'm still in the habit of waking up about 8, so that gives me quite awhile to tiptoe through the apartmet. We toured a living museum Tuesday and went to the beach yesterday. It's been a slow week. I'm getting lots of reading done, though!

The wonderful weather has just run out. Up until now it's been in the high 60s or low 70s and sunny every day. Today, it's raining lightly. We're supposed to be shopping. I'm trying to figure out the odds of getting John's youngest sister out on the pedestrian mall in the rain. I don't think they're good.
