Hey look, It's TWINS!!!!

Ladieeeeees and Gentlemen............

After 12 rounds of pushing, ice trips, epidurals, and everything else, we have the results of this birthing bout of the century. And the winner is the Voglers.

In the first corner we have Corbin Tobias Vogler (the mighty leader) weighing in at a hefty 5 lbs and 4 oz at 7:20 PM August 27th, 2005. In the closely followed second corner being born at a mere 10 minutes after his brother Jayden Gabriel Vogler (the strong follower) tipping the scales also at 5 lbs 4oz.

Mother is healthy and sleeping. Dad is sleepy and wired on adrenaline. Dave seemed well on the phone. It sounded as if things had gone rather well. The story as I understand it was that Sabrina had dilated quite a bit but hadn't had much pushing and was sent to the OR (as normal SOP for twins). As Dave says, "a long story short, that was the start of many more hours." Productive pushing was difficult and was finally helped with some suction.

Dave thanks us all for our prayers and asks for their continuation during their transition. He hopes to have pictures soon.
