they are beautiful! How old are they now? How are you doing with two? Is it old hat by now? heck there are days I can't handle two! What a blessing they must be.

I imagine you guys have learned that kids seemed to spit up quite a bit more when turned upside down like Corban, or is that Jayden.

Like Jenn said, beautiful boys!!

thanks guys! Corban is the one upside down, hee hee.

oh, first I just have to again say how I excited I am for you, Kristen! SUCH a thrill!

Life with twins is so much fun, albeit a lot of work. The challenges are very real: the ongoing need to try to "think on your feet" about how to simultaneously feed, burp, comfort, hold, and diap two little ones who don't understand the meaning of waiting. (I read somewhere it's good for children to learn the skill of delaying gratification - this made me laugh out loud! I think twins get an extra dose of this lesson.) Hauling two little sixteen-pounders around all day definitely does take it's toll on the body - my wrists and thumbs will NEVER be the same, I'm sure! But one glimpse of them nibbling on each others toes or babbling to each other in Twinspeak makes it all worth it.

Probably the biggest challenge we've had so far is sleep-training. We've read SO many books on the subject and tried so many techniques . . . things are finally getting better, although we are separating them for naps. It's like: we're trying to teach you how to fall and stay asleep on your own, honey - and oh, by the way, please ignore your brother wailing in your ear! :) After many weeks of hard work, 7:00 bedtime is finally a time of bliss as they snuggle into their little "sleeping car" caboose.

And now they are teething, eek! Starting solid food at the same time they are teething is very confusing, because they are naturally more fussy and pooping looser stools (sorry, I know you've heard more than you want to know about this one!) - plus, they both suffer from eczema so it's VERY challenging trying to discern if any of those symptoms is supposed to be a food allergy! I hope this teething thing passes soon - well, at least to get a little break in it would be nice. They turned seven months today - I can't believe it! Just wait, Kris - the time will fly and soon you will be a proud mother! How lucky your little one is to have such fantastic parents!

Okay, sorry for the novel - God bless all. Sabrina

I like the picture! Say, can you get them to pose face to face on a black background, and then maybe we'll see a vase in between them, M.C. Escher style?

Had to ask... ;)

We already have a baby book here. John was reading it the other day, and mentioned the the book really isn't about babies, it was about poop.

yeah, we're ready. :S

So teething is now a way of life - oh boy, we need to fasten our seatbelts! :) Poor little Emily with all those little Almost Teeth Bumps! Have a great night all - Sabrina
