Superman and a Princess
Sometimes quarks (not the express variety, Kris), atoms, molecules, compounds, mixtures, and other organic entities align just right at a single instant in all of time to produce the perfect photograph. And when this happens, I typically don't have my camera with me.
Until today.

Excellent costumes! Great muscles, and cute princess. I love the fact that the princess costumes is not pink tulle.
Oh, yeah, and the kids in them are darn adorable, too!! Will they go trick-or-treating this year, or is that not donw in your neighborhood. (Sadly, I've heard it's becoming more uncommon.)
Anyone else have the costumes at the ready?
Such a cute picture! Ahh, the politics of the Halloween costume! Sounds like your little sweeties will have a blast. And may I just say, only in Texas could you get BARBEQUE at a Halloween party! My mouth is watering at the thought! :)
When I first looked at that picture I thought "Who are those big kids? Who in our group has kids that grown up?" I guess we should get together soon before they are all taller than us! Jane is going through an "all people are scary" mode so I think we'll put the candy in front of the house and say help yourself. I was scared last year of some of the kids in our complex!
Karen - yes, a year or so ago, we had similar experiences with Caleb, being scared of the kids on the street in their costumes. Admittedly, (trying not to sound like a "kids these days" comment), costumes these days are pretty darn scary for kids. When did a sheet with two holes for eyes go out of style?
Sabrina - the main reason we are going to Caleb's preschool tonight for the fall fest is they have smoked brisket and sausage and fajitas. Oh, and the other reason is that it's Caleb's preschool. :)
