Skype deal ending 31-Jan
All,
Just FYI, Skype has a deal until the end of January: Free dial-out for entire US and Canada for $15. Usually it's $30. I tried it out, and it works great for calling my folks - they say I sound just fine (or, no worse than usual.)
So for what it's worth, thought you all would be interested.

Hi- Boought it last week! John's family are all on Skype, so we video-chat with them.
We don't even have long-distance calling with our land line, just use Skype for everyone else. Even though we'll be at my parents for awhile, I decided it was worth the gamble on the $15 so we'd have it this year.
