One year ago
Well, it was one year ago the surgeon was asking me where to make an incision to remove my "just about to burst" appendix. I shudder as I think how close that scalpel came to Jayden. Thank you God for sparing all three of our lives! Thank you also to all of you for your prayers through that super challenging time. I am filled with awe and gratitude today . . .

Was it really a year already? I'll never forget that email from Dave- it was scary for us, all the way here in Denmark! It's amazing what doctors can do these days.
I keep hoping all will go well with us for a few weeks- we'll be without health insurance for a full 10 days. There was just no way around it.
Can't wait to see everyone.
Very cute! What size are they now? Its hard to tell from the pictures but Aidan may have surpassed them size wise already! My little brute! He's wearing 9-12 months stuff and mostly toward the 12m!
Hi again! Yes Jenn, we're getting out and about with our stroller - the second car is still limping badly so whatever we do when Dave's at work is within walking distance, but it's still enough to feel like we're getting a change of pace. Kris - sorry to hear about the health insurance glitch - we'll certainly pray you through that time! Heather - happy to hear that Aidan continues to thrive. The babes are still growing but I think overall their growth has slowed due to less formula and more solid foods. Happy Friday everybody, and Happy Birthday Dave! :)
