Housy stuff

Hi all! Anna continues to enjoy walking on her own. You never know with her if a skill will stick or disappear for a while. I went to an appointment today to fit her for a new bracing system that would be a pain in the behind because it's like a wet suit. Imagine trying to change a diaper and having to take off her pants and a wet suit! Anyway, they said "Let's give her a month to practice walking without the suit." Praise the Lord!! We don't have to go down that road yet.
The house is on hold, sadly. The roads are posted (too mushy from the thaw) so they can't get the concrete trucks in for the garage foundation and the truck to drill the well. The builder might be willing to pour some of the concrete by hand just to keep the project going. We'll see. Of course I'd like to get out of here ASAP but the real concern is getting Nate's parents moved before they go to Russia in early July. In the mean time, I'm completely absorbed in cleaning this place top to bottom. It takes a lot of energy! Nate and I had a romantic evening scrubbing the kitchen floor together. :) Not really romantic.
In other good news, Nate is getting a lot of projects in for East Light! Some people are coming back for more copies of parties he's shot. That's the best kind of work since it takes very little time to make copies.
I've been so out of touch with you all. How is Jenn? Are you able to get up and about? How is Kris? Are you on a more normal schedule? How's the Twin Momma? Is life ever normal?? Heather, what are you up to these days? I hope that you are all well and rolling with life as it comes. In the words of one of my favorite poets, Longfellow, "Let us then be up and doing, with a heart for any fate. Still achieving, still pursuing, learn to labor and to wait."

Karen, dear, so glad to have you back!!!
How cute is that house?! I hope the ground hardens up again soon, and you are once more on your way.
I'm thrilled to hear about Anna. Let's hope this skill sticks. I've got my fingers crossed for you!
We're doing ok, and on a fairly predictable schedule. Noah is rolling over- just learned that today. He also found his legs, and would prefer John or I hold him upright to bounce all day long. (Just call him Tigger.) Thank God for the excersaucer, even if he's a bit small for it. Hope all is well!
Looks great. Looking forward to seeing more pictures as more progress is made!

Hi Karen! That picture of the house looks great! It must be a real rollercoaster ride right now, all the ups and downs of waiting for it to be completed. And we are so THRILLED about Anna's walking - what a miracle she is!
We are doing just fine here, enjoying the sunshine now that the days are longer. The boys are happily climbing the furniture, testing Mama's limits, and learning their numbers - lots of fun and lots of learning for all four of us!!! :)
