Starting to move
Hey guys! I wanted to blog now while I have the chance. The house hold is being packed up in bits so you never know what will be available any given day. Our condo has been on the market for a little over a week. It's a steal! It's so hard to be patient. I just want to be rid of it. And I don't want to keep cleaning and clearing it for showings. We had a good open house last Sunday with eight couples walk through. Then there were two showings on Tuesday, a couple more at the end of the week and one today. I accidentally met the young man that came today. They were over an hour late and I didn't get the message from our realtor. I pulled up just as they were walking to the door. I just said I'd spend a half hour at the park, not to rush. He was viewing the house for the second time and he had brought his parents. Good sign? Poor Janie and Anna were so tired and just wanted to go in and sleep. Janie said as we pulled away "I want to go home." But they rallied at the park and became completely exhausted.
My dad is here for the weekend to help Nate paint the new place. They let us have a key early, thankfully. The house is DONE and we should close this coming Friday. We plan to move on the 19th and Nate's parents move on the 26th. I can't wait! It really looks beautiful and most importantly, it's so peaceful. It really feels like home already.
Have you survived your move Kris and John and Noah? Even if you have survived, I don't expect you to blog about it yet. We'll hear from you again in good time I'm sure! So, the Tinsleys are signing off for now too.

Hi- The move went fairly well. All the big stuff and things from Rochester are here. There are some things left from past lives (like my drafting board) which will make it here in weeks to come.
The furniture is in place, except for our books, which are currently all in bags in the basement. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where the shelves should go.
I'm exhausted, but making progress. I'll blog soon.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MOVE, TINSLEYS!!
Yes, indeed - good luck and blessings to you! Hopefully your house will sell fast!!!
