Royal Flush

If you've ever played poker you know that a Royal Flush is the highest/best hand to have. It consists of the 5 highest cards all in the same suit. Well it seems that is the hand I have been dealt. Five of the same male suit in the Wilber household come July 6. I will remain the token female.
The last 4 1/2 months have actually been really difficult compared to the other 3 pregnancies. November and December I could barely lift my head off a pillow let alone get up and function as a mother. The EXTREME exhaustion even sent me to the ER but every test they ran returned "normal". While things are better than that now, I am still in bed before 9pm (or earlier if I don't get a nap) and I get tired if I do much more than a load of laundry or general picking up.

On a separate note, Matt starts a new job on Monday. He was approached by a former coworker to work for him and while I certainly don't understand all the technical stuff, he seems excited about it so I am excited for him. As he explains, it is a lateral but uphill move, career-wise. He'll now have people under him and working with some new technology but still writing code. In my most basic of understanding, this new company helps other companies manage their energy consumption more effectively. (Please direct all technical questions to the guru himself!) He's 'going green' as they say which is something he at least feels some passion for as opposed to working with wage garnishments in paychecks!

So other than that, life is ho-hum here! lol

Gee, I was just thinking this afternoon, "If no one posts by tonight, I'll have to think of something to write myself." :)

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! How absolutely wonderful! I can't get this stupid grin off my face.

:D I'm so happy for you, –H! So very happy for you and Matt both. I just wish we were a bit closer by to lend a hand. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a rough time this go-around. I guess the good news is that you're half-way there. Another boy! WOW!

As for Matt, congrats on the job. I know getting a new job was the best thing on the planet for John. I hope Matt finds the same satisfaction.

Keep us posted, Heather. For what it's worth, I'll be trying to sending some energy waves your way! (I'll get out the tinfoil now.)

My goodness me! Wow!!!!! Congratulations, guys! Heather, that's so amazing - four sons, huh? In my book that means you get as many pink frilly things as you can possibly imagine, right? :) Congrats Matt on the new job! Sounds like a great opportunity. We'll certainly keep the rest of this pregnancy in our prayers!

Congratulations! Your scenario reminds me of our first neighbor here in Austin. He had two daughters with his first wife and FOUR daughters with his second wife. I felt so bad the day when I came home with Caleb from the hospital - a boy with our first shot. :) No really congrats. I too am sorry we aren't closer to help you out. Matt, Congrats on the new job!
