It's a girl!
It's been a busy week here. My 18 week ultrasound was Wednesday, and everything went very well. Both of my ultrasounds for Noah were done in Denmark, and a few things have changed in two years as well. I was amazed that they could not only check the heart structure, but watch the actual blood flow to make sure all was well. I can't think of an organ they didn't check, at least structurally. They also had a 4D ultrasound, which they turned on briefly to get a real look at our new little girl!
Yep, a girl. The tech was very, very sure, and based on her reasoning, I'm with her. I still think boys are easier to deal with, so we'll see if my attitudes hold out in a few years.
I'm almost half-way there. I don't remember having trouble squatting and bending this early with Noah, which is making gardening hard. Weeding is impossible, and I can't figure out why it's such a big deal. I just need to get the mulch in and (hopefully) plant my strawberries, but so far I dig a few feet and get sore. Otherwise, I feel fine. Wish me luck!
