It's a girl!
It's been a busy week here. My 18 week ultrasound was Wednesday, and everything went very well. Both of my ultrasounds for Noah were done in Denmark, and a few things have changed in two years as well. I was amazed that they could not only check the heart structure, but watch the actual blood flow to make sure all was well. I can't think of an organ they didn't check, at least structurally. They also had a 4D ultrasound, which they turned on briefly to get a real look at our new little girl!
Yep, a girl. The tech was very, very sure, and based on her reasoning, I'm with her. I still think boys are easier to deal with, so we'll see if my attitudes hold out in a few years.
I'm almost half-way there. I don't remember having trouble squatting and bending this early with Noah, which is making gardening hard. Weeding is impossible, and I can't figure out why it's such a big deal. I just need to get the mulch in and (hopefully) plant my strawberries, but so far I dig a few feet and get sore. Otherwise, I feel fine. Wish me luck!

Good luck with the digging - and let me say again that she is gorgeous! LOVE this shot! :)
I remember when I was 8 months pregnant with Declan and out trying to weed the front gardens. I ended up sitting on my keister in the middle of the garden and weeded what I could reach around me then crab-walked to the next spot and weeded some more. It wasn't too bad till I had to get up! That was a 2-man job! lol Good luck and congrats on the girl!
Kris, I know you will not take offense at a child's creativity, so I will tell you what Jane said about the picture of your new little girl! She said "Awe, it's head looks like a bunny." I'm so glad things are going well.
HA! No offense taken at all. In fact, she's right. :)
I can see that. The white part of her head. It does indeed look like rabbit ears. caleb and em enjoyed looking like your little one.
