Another day in Texas.
Well I guess summer is here. It seems to be a weird spring down here. It isn't quite as hot at the end of April as it normally would be. But yesterday it reached 85 so we put on the swim suits and went for a swim. Or I should say the kids and matt went for a swim and I sat and watched. The water was just too cold for me. The kids have been bugging me to go swimming for the past month. I've tried to explain to them that even though it is warm or hot outside the pool water will still be pretty cold. That excuse was wearing thin so we went yesterday. Caleb was on the top step in the water so I decided to help him the rest of the way by pushing him. :) I know, I know, any mom would do the same. :) But seriously, the kids had a blast. It was good to be back to swimming. Although, I don't think we'll get any time in today. It seems like it will be cloudy all day. Who knows Texas weather can change from minute to minute. I sure hope the sun comes out so we can do it again today! Ahh.... even as we speak the sun is trying to come out from behind the clouds. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Swimming. Wow. It was wonderful here today, but it's the first really warm day we've had and the trees are popping. My allergies are terrible this year, so I've been hiding, and probably will be for another week. Thankfully John could take Noah out, and they spent the last two days charging around outdoors.
All else is well. Thanks for the update, Jenn, and enjoy the water!
Yeah yesterday was 82, today was 65, tomorrow 87, Tues 73, Wed 59.... make up your mind!! The allergies are nasty this year and poor Declan seems to be taking the brunt of it. Poor kid's eyes are practically caked shut every morning and then they drip all day and he's a sneezing machine. Poor peanut.
