Just a few words

Hi all. As I type this, I'm hoping Jane's face is getting better. I hate, hate HATE allergies! Mine are back in full force . . . leaf mold is my personal kryptonite. (Did I spell that correctly?) A few minutes outdoors and I'm reeling. And it's beautiful out.
Aside from that, all is well here. We've joined a mom and me program in the village, and only two of us come. The other mom is an old friend from high school, and it's been fun. We also go to a gym class on Tuesdays, which isn't really a class, but an open hour at the local gymnastics club. Anything Noah can reach he can go on. They pile up mats to climb on, too. Noah loves it. He's so high energy, I've been wishing I could just re-do my basement in gym mats and foam pits.
He's talking up a storm, too. He's really using whole sentences, so now I know what's on his mind, and trust me, he has my imagination.
Karen, I've been meaning to write about your last post for over a month. I'll try to be quick. In short, I'm with you. What makes this whole mom thing difficult is the lack of personal space. For me, it's food, too. I'm a slow eater, and I never seem to have time to fill up. I'm always hungry. But most days, what I want most is to be able to STOP WATCHING. Noah is getting better. But at the same time, he's stronger and a better climber, so the things he can get into are getting scarier.
A side note here. He seems to think "Be careful" means "BONSAI!!!" As in, he'll stand on the top of something and say, "Be careful, Noah. Be careful." Then he jumps. When I hear those words now, my blood runs cold.
Enjoy fall everyone!
